Kelly Nash grew up in Davie, Florida a city situated outside Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Kelly Nash was raised boating and fishing together with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash is her sister and Carolyn Nash is her brother. Kelly Nash is of English and Irish origin. She is also Swedish. Her great-grandfather was born in Portugal and immigrated to the United States.



 At a very young age, Kelly Nash was a lover of the Miami Marlins. Although Nash had a passion for sports at an early age, she always thought she would become a news reporter. Kelly Nash received a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina in 2006. In 2009, she graduated from Clemson University with a Master's degree in Youth Development Leadership. In exchange for her services as a coach on the Sports Information Department's Soccer and Baseball teams, she had been awarded full athletic scholarships by the Clemson Athletic Department.



 Kelly Nash, a MLB Network studio host, has appeared on a variety of shows, including Quick Pitch, the nightly highlights program. She also serves as an NHL Network Studio host, being featured on the Nightly Game recap Show, On The Fly. The NHL Network hired her to join the MLB Network in March 2015. In 2015 she began her contribution to the NHL Network.
